Little LOON Productions:
New for Winter 2022: Let’s Make an Opera!
Our brand-new Little LOON production, Let’s Make an Opera, is a music-filled peek into the process of creating an opera. Written and directed by Bradley Greenwald and hosted by some of LOON’s youngest patrons, this 19-minute video is available for on-demand viewing through the end of the 2021-22 school year. Teaching materials include a printable mask cut-out template.
School Fee: $100. Participating schools will receive as many access codes as needed for all students to participate, including in-class and distance learners. All participating students and teachers will receive a Golden Ticket to Lyric Opera of the North’s June 2022 production of Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel & Gretel in Duluth, Minnesota.
2020-21 Video: Little LOON and Friends
Released in May 2021, Little LOON and Friends explores the emotional worlds we can inhabit through opera. Overflowing with beautiful singing and heartfelt moments, the video includes supplemental teaching materials including a printable seek and find and a word search, as well as the music for anyone who wants to sing along. This video and the supplemental materials are available free upon request.
